Leisurely walk in the Clun area via the Castle Connect bus. Learn about organic gardening practices, WWOOFing and a green way of life to earn a sumptuous tea served in a beautiful garden with magnificent views.
There was the oppportunity to buy tea & scones/cake at the final destination of the day – Tea On The Way
Foraging Walk

Starting from Ludlow, landscape detective, broadcaster and author
of The Blue Remembered Hills, Keith Pybus, took as his walk theme the recipes and folklore of the hedgerows – with ‘short detours’ to the foraging by schoolchildren in the First World War.
Tastings on the way, courtesy of Mother Nature, and on completion from Keith’s parcel shelf.

Short Social Walk

Start/end at Castle Square by the Cannon
A short social walk led by local Walking for Health volunteers, for a pleasant meander through Ludlow’s medieval streets and beautiful countryside. The route covered footpaths in the town on to uneven pastureland back to The Castle, with a steep slope and some steps towards the end.
